Traditional Eastern European Dance
Eva has had a long love affair with traditional eastern European women's dances, and particularly their restorative benefits. She has been fortunate to study these with some of the best instructors in Europe over a number of years. Eva offers workshops to share her knowledge and passion when and where-ever there is a circle of women interested in the experience. Please contact Eva to find out about the next planned event or to discuss your individual requirements.

The next dance workshop will be held on Sunday, 30th March 2025 at the Queen Street Community Hall in Yeppoon, from 3pm to 7pm. Please e-mail Eva for further details & registration. The workshop is $30.

Origins
Most of the Dances come from Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Bulgaria and Armenia. Eva has traveled to a number of these places to research these dances to not only be able to perform and teach them authentically, but to explore & understand their often ancient cultural origins.

Prerequisites
These dances are suitable for any woman who is interested, regardless of age or level of experience. The dance patterns are simple, but meaningful. No partner is needed as they are usually danced in a (semi)circle. All you need is a love for movement, music & rhythm. Anyone who participates can benefit from the experience.
